Chashama currently manages twelve presentation spaces around New York City. Through our Space To Present Program we give performers, visual artists and curators the opportunity to present their work in professional, highly visible venues at a wide range of locations. Spaces are made available at no cost to artists, who work in a variety of mediums including dance, music, theatre, performance art, fine art and multi-disciplinary fields. Chashama provides logistical support for the exhibition and promotional support to increase audience awareness.

Our presentation venues vary from storefront windows and raw industrial spaces, to white box galleries and outdoor spaces. Additionally, through our partnerships with privately owned public spaces, we are able to exhibit visual art in building lobbies and host performances in unique places. chashama’s locations are as diverse as the neighborhoods surrounding them, encouraging artists to think outside the box and engage audiences in exhilarating ways.

Presentations range between 1-3 weeks and chashama programs our presentation venues continually throughout the year.
