Aishwariya Chockalingam, PT, DPT
Aishwariya earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Andrews University, and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While completing her studies, Aishwariya conducted research on the prevalence of children with Unilateral Vestibular Hypofunction in Michigan.
During her clinical rotations, Aishwariya worked directly with treating adult orthopedic and neurologic conditions in the outpatient and in the inpatient setting. She also gained skills to specialize in treating various pediatric orthopedic conditions such as torticollis, in-toeing, toe-walking, and adult vestibular dysfunctions. Aishwariya’s professional interests include reading weekly scholarly journals to expand her working knowledge and skills on various treatment techniques. She loves learning about her patients on an individual level to implement treatment plans that are specific to their needs to optimize their rehabilitation potential.
Aishwariya is from the Northwest suburb of Chicago. She loves the big city and the energy it brings! During her free time, Aishwariya enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
