Anna Potapova earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College, as well as her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from John Jay College. While at Hunter, Anna completed a research project in collaboration with NYP Weill-Cornell Medical Center investigating a correlation between cancer-related fatigue and physical function in patients with hematologic malignancy. She also took advanced coursework through the Institute of Physical Art in principles of posture and movement and soft tissue mobilization with a focus on biomechanical techniques. Anna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and takes great pride in delivering individualized and evidence based care to her patients.

Anna has experience treating various orthopedic conditions and has a special interest in hand therapy, splinting, and kinesiotaping. During previous clinical affiliations, she had the opportunity to work with diverse clinical diagnoses including neurological and vestibular conditions. Anna’s background in psychology gives her a unique perspective on the connection between mind and body when treating acute and chronic pain.

Outside of the clinic, Anna enjoys helping local animal rescue organizations, spending time outdoors, working out, cooking, and playing with her two cats.
