Anthony earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Albany (SUNY). While at Columbia, Anthony participated in the advance orthopedic course, gaining advanced knowledge in different manual therapy techniques, also attending special courses on the Hand and Wrist, Foot and Ankle, Women’s Health, and Sports Rehabilitation. Additionally, he had the pleasure of presenting a Master Class on Functional Stability Re-training with his fellow classmates.
Throughout Anthony’s clinical experience, he has had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages presenting with various orthopedic/sports injuries and post-operative conditions. He has worked with patients following neurological injuries such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Anthony is a firm believer that each patient’s treatment session should be individualized to their goals and tailored to the demands of their daily life.
Anthony’s love of health and wellness began at a young age, when he started training in the martial arts. Throughout his martial training, he has known too often what it is like to be sidelined with an injury. It was after a martial arts injury where Anthony was first exposed to physical therapy. The experience strengthened his ability to empathize with others and allowed him to appreciate the rehabilitation process enabling patients to resume pursuing their passions.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Anthony is an avid New York sports fan. He enjoys staying active through weight lifting, running, and taking various exercise classes.
