Brittany Kashkin, PT, DPT, CSCS
Brittany received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Brittany was born and raised in New Jersey where she was a competitive dancer. Two knee injuries which resulted in surgeries, sparked her passion for orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation. She has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of sports injuries including movement dysfunctions and post-operative orthopedic procedures. Her experience includes acute in-patient as well as outpatient care. In addition, Brittany has a broad base of clinical experiences including pediatrics, vestibular therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation. Her primary goal is the successful recovery of her patients. Brittany recognizes the importance of providing her patients the education and tools to prevent future injuries. She believes that communication between therapist and patient is the key to effective treatment.
When she is not at the clinic, Brittany loves to experience all that New York has to offer. You can often find her jogging through Central Park, across the Brooklyn Bridge, or participating in various charity events including Cycle for Survival and the Parkinson’s Unity Walk. Her favorite weekend afternoons are spent strolling through local street fairs to experience the cultural diversity of the city. Brittany is an avid amateur cook and loves to spend time entertaining her family and friends.
