Christopher Churchill, PT, DPT, CSCS

Christopher received his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Middlebury College and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with honors from Columbia University. Chris was lucky enough to have a father as a physical therapist to help return him back to sport after any injuries. After experiencing and witnessing his father’s ability to change lives, he knew he wanted to pursue physical therapy.
While pursuing his degree at Middlebury, Chris competed as a varsity basketball player for all four years. During his time at Columbia, he performed doctoral research in preseason movement screens for Division I soccer athletes, analyzing the relationship between the players’ test scores and injuries during the season. He and his team members were able to present their research at the 2019 APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Combined Sections Meeting.
Chris had the opportunity to treat a variety of diagnoses and patient populations during his outpatient and inpatient clinical affiliations, but gained much experience in treating patients with post-operative and non-operative hip diagnoses during his clinical experience at SPEAR. During his final clinical affiliation at EXOS in Los Angeles, California, he treated high level professional and collegiate athletes in football and basketball, helping them return to their respective sports.
Outside of the clinic, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, heading to the beach, playing basketball, weightlifting, swimming, reading and traveling.
