Connor Cronan, PT, DPT, CSCS
Connor Cronan is a physical therapist at our Brooklyn Heights clinic. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University and his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island. Connor found his passion for physical therapy while working at a gym in his hometown, where he discovered the career through a coworker rehabilitating from a back injury.
During his clinical rotations, he worked full-time in two different general orthopedic settings, gaining experience with a variety of clientele. He was also exposed to pediatrics, working with children as young as 5 years of age, as well as post operative patients, high school athletes and numerous work related injuries. His other two clinical experiences were in acute care and acute rehabilitation hospitals, where he treated patient’s diagnosed with spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, amputees and orthopedic/cardiac post surgical patients.
Connor is an avid hiker, kayaker and weight lifter. He also enjoys playing flag football and pick up basketball. During undergrad he was a part of the URI powerlifting team. He looks forward to coming to work everyday to meet new people, build relationships and help his patient’s return to a high quality of life. Connor’s main interests lie in sport rehabilitation, orthopedic therapy, prosthetics and neurological diseases.
