Cydni is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who completed a year-long Sports Physical Therapy residency program in California to further her knowledge and clinical skills treating athletes of all levels, including professional, collegiate, high school, and weekend warriors. During her residency program, she served as one of the primary physical therapists for California State University Sacramento athletes and assisted with rehab for the United Soccer League’s Sacramento Republic FC.
Cydni grew up in Sacramento, California where she played many sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis. She was a 4-year starter and captain for the Vassar College Women’s Basketball team, where she became a 2-time All-American, 2-time ECAC Upstate Player of the Year, and 2011 National Rookie of the Year. Her senior season she led the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (47.8%) and free throw percentage (93.6%) for NCAA Division III.
Her clinical interests include treating all orthopedic and sports injuries through a combination of therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and movement education that best fit the individual needs of the patient. She has a particular interest in post-operative rehab including, but not limited to, patients who have undergone surgical procedures such as ACL, meniscus, MPFL, Rotator Cuff, Labral, and Achilles repairs. She believes that creating an environment where patients feel comfortable and have fun during rehab enhances the recovery process.
In her free time, Cydni enjoys playing and watching basketball, training for Spartan Races, and exploring good eats in NYC.
