Daniel Romeo, PT, DPT, CSCS




Dan earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, where he completed advanced coursework in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Prior to pursuing his doctorate, Dan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has completed clinical affiliations in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and acute rehabilitation.
Dan was first introduced to the healing power of physical therapy at a young age as a competitive high school track and field athlete while receiving treatment for numerous injuries. He understands how injuries and pain may disrupt life and has made it his life goal to help others get back to life. Dan is a self-described life-long learner and utilizes the latest evidence-based research in helping his patients reach their goals. He believes in an active treatment approach, which focuses on optimizing functional movement patterns and empowering patients with the tools required for lasting results and prevention of future injuries. He understands that every patient is unique, and takes the time to get to know his patients so that he can better tailor his care for each patient individually. In life, Dan truly believes that health is wealth and greatly values the opportunity to help individuals reach their goals and live their most healthy lives.
Born and raised on Long Island, Dan now enjoys life in New York City. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and weight training in the gym. When not working with his patients or exercising himself, he can be found spending time with family and friends, enjoying time outdoors, and watching sporting events.
