Dina earned her Master of Occupational Therapy at Touro College. She was the recipient of the Maimonides award, issued to the graduating student whose endeavors have demonstrated the highest of professional ideals. Dina was also inducted as a lifelong member of the Alpha Eta Honors Society, the national honor society for allied health professions. During her time in graduate school, Dina also became a member of the Student Occupational Therapy Association, where she serviced her fellow students as class representative and liaison.
While completing her degree, Dina completed a specialty clinical affiliation to gain exposure to hand therapy. She evaluated and treated patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions including arthritis, adhesive capsulitis, upper extremity fractures, and rotator cuff injuries. Dina’s passion as an occupational therapist drives her to assist others to live their best lives.
Dina has always enjoyed being active and incorporates movement into her daily schedule. She is an avid runner and enjoys competing in races and half marathons. Dina also enjoys cycling, skiing, skating, and swimming. As an athlete, Dina understands how disruptive and disappointing injury can be. She utilizes her experiences to better relate to her patients and meet individualized goals.
