Eric Masbou earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, following a career working as a foreign exchange trader in San Francisco and Manhattan.  After spending clinical time in long-term acute care, subacute rehab, and skilled nursing facilities, he returned to his roots as an avid athlete himself, and now specializes in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.

Eric treats pre and post-op surgical cases including total joint replacements, debridement, fusions, soft tissue repairs, osteotomies, and ORIFs, as well as non-surgical injuries involving the spine, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle.  He has treated patients of all ages and activity level – from those with chronic aches and pains, to weekend warriors, to professional athletes in sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, football, hockey, skiing, ultimate frisbee, and martial arts.

As a dual national, Eric loves to travel, learning about food and wine, and spending time with his family. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, he continues to support his hometown NBA Sacramento Kings, but keeps his wife and in-laws happy by supporting NY teams when they are not competing against each other!
