Georgina Genovese earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Carroll University in Wisconsin. At Carroll, Georgina pursued all of her clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic settings, working with diverse patient populations.
Her clinical interests include performing arts, orthopedics, and women’s health. She has experience working with professional ballet dancers, athletes, workers compensation injuries, and general orthopedic conditions. Georgina was inspired to become a physical therapist when she was a young dancer, which also inspired her passion for dance medicine. She has attended the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference in Montreal, Canada, and has also traveled to Peru to volunteer her physical therapy skills for those in need. She is always striving to provide treatments supported by the most current research, while providing an individualized treatment plan for each patient. In the future, Georgina plans to become certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and continue to enhance her manual therapy skills in order to provide patients the best care possible. She is consistently seeking out opportunities to learn and grow her knowledge.
Originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, Georgina is excited to embrace her love for dance and explore New York City. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, exercising, yoga, hiking, and traveling.
