Jillian earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Montana. Prior to completing her transitional doctorate in the United States, Jillian earned her Bachelors of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia in 2015.
Jillian has working experience with a wide range of patient populations from different age groups and cultures. After completing her clinical rotations in Australia, she returned home to Singapore where she worked in public health with the geriatric population in inpatient neurology, oncology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, medical ICU and outpatient orthopedics. In 2017, Jillian moved to New York City, where she had the opportunity to work in school-based pediatrics, sub-acute and outpatient post-operative settings. Growing up representing Singapore’s Junior Squash team, Jillian always had an interest in sports injury rehabilitation and prevention. Having her own fair share of minor injuries, Jillian always valued high quality care provided by her own physical therapist, who helped her return to sport pain-free and prevented more severe injuries through her competitive years. Jillian’s goal is to deliver individualized care to her patients; to empower and educate them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Jillian was born and raised in Singapore. During her free time, she volunteers at healthcare facilities with her therapy dog Bruce. She also enjoys Crossfit, skiing, and traveling the world to experience wildlife.
