Kruti earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware, where she also received her Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, she graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While at the University of Delaware, Kruti also had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for the acute care course.
Kruti has worked with various patient populations including acute care, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient post-operative rehabilitation, outpatient neurology and geriatrics, outpatient sports and orthopedics, and pediatrics. These experiences have enhanced Kruti’s knowledge of functional movement and the overall rehabilitation process, while creating individualized treatment plans to support the patients in reaching their goals. She was also able to integrate these skills when participating as a medical volunteer for the Marine Corp Marathon and hopes to continue doing so in the future.
Kruti’s overall goal is to provide a collaborative relationship with her patients to improve their overall health and wellness. Her clinical interests include fall prevention and balance training, optimizing function in individuals with orthopedic injuries, and rehabilitation for neurological conditions such as stroke and spinal cord injury.
Kruti grew up in Germantown, Maryland and is excited to begin exploring New York City. She enjoys running through Central Park, hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
