Lauren earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College where she gained exposure working with patients in a variety of rehabilitation settings, including outpatient, sub-acute and acute. During graduate school, Lauren completed research in women’s health and had the opportunity to present her work at American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in 2019. Prior to graduate school, Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware.
Through her clinical experiences, Lauren gained exposure working with patients of all ages with various orthopedic, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular diagnoses. Lauren’s passion for physical therapy started after witnessing how physical therapy positively affected her grandmother battling Alzheimer’s Disease. Her clinical interests include geriatrics, orthopedics, and women’s health. Lauren has a passion for delivering patient-centered care and strives to help her patients reach their goals and improve their quality of life.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants. During the summertime, you can find her at the Jersey shore.
