Leon received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of Rochester and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. He was initially on a pre-medical track and had a change of heart his junior year, after finding his calling in physical therapy while working as an intern at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in his hometown of White Plains, NY. Leon is also a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certified expert, which gives him insight into golf-related injuries and swing analysis.
Following his training at the University of Pittsburgh, Leon embarked on traveling assignments for the past 3 years, working in New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina, experiencing both outpatient and inpatient aspects of Physical Therapy. Having been born in China, raised in Canada, and educated in America, Leon is well-versed in diversity and welcomes it in his clinical practice. In his free time, Leon enjoys playing golf, soccer, and exercise. Being familiar with recurrent low back pain since high school, Leon is keen on prevention of low back injuries with all these activities. On the leisure end, Leon is fond of experiencing different foods, and attempting to recreate recipes.
