Lucas earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies from Rutgers University. During his studies, Lucas served as a member of the National Physical Therapy Student Honor Society, and treasurer for the Student Physical Therapy Association and Camden Pro Bono Clinic. When he was not studying, Lucas played for the Rutgers Men’s Club Soccer team, served as an academic tutor, and participated in various community service events.
Lucas’ passion for physical therapy began from his involvement in sports at a young age, and strengthened as he continued his education. During his clinical experience, Lucas gained exposure to different patient populations and experiences in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics. Through his clinical involvement, Lucas became well-versed in treating patients with various conditions including neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, sport-specific, and post-operative. Lucas hopes to promote fitness and optimal quality of life for all his patients.
Originally from Harrison, NJ, Lucas grew up playing soccer. One of his favorite memories was playing his town’s rival high school soccer team at the Red Bull Arena, home of the New York Red Bulls. Outside of the clinic, Lucas enjoys leading an active lifestyle by participating in soccer and volleyball leagues, running, hiking, traveling, and engaging in outdoor activities with family and friends.
