Marissa obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany. From her studies, Marissa understands the importance of incorporating a holistic approach to each patient’s treatment plan she develops.

After graduating, Marissa spent the next two years exploring the country and treating patients before returning to New York City. Through her clinical and travelling experiences, Marissa treated diverse patient populations with a wide variety of conditions. Some of these conditions included general orthopedics, post-op, post-concussion, vestibular, stroke, SCI, Parkinson’s Disease, and balance training.

Currently, Marissa enjoys taking on new challenges in her personal and professional life. When not working, Marissa enjoys traveling, hiking, listening to live music, and reading any book she can get her hands on.
