Meghan Hom, PT, DPT, OCS
Meghan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with honors from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology with summa cum laude honors from the University of Redlands. At Redlands, Meghan was captain of the varsity soccer team and also played various intramural sports. Her clinical experience includes outpatient orthopedics, sports-related rehabilitation, and working with populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Meghan’s athletic background influenced her strong interest in the orthopedic and sports populations. She believes in a personalized approach to treatment, helping patients to reach their goals and to live their fullest lives.
While at Columbia, she completed advanced orthopedic coursework. She also dedicated time to community service involvement such as traveling to underserved regions of Guatemala to provide physical therapy to elders, individuals using prosthetic limbs, and people with spinal cord injury.
She continues to stay active through running half marathons, taking spin classes, and lifting weights. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she enjoys returning to the Great Northwest from time to time to see family and friends, spend time at the coast, and enjoy the evergreen trees.
