Michaela "Lanae" Duncan, PT, DPT, CMPT

Michaela “Lanae” Duncan went to the University of Indianapolis, where she graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Krannert School of Physical Therapy in 2017. Currently, Lanae is a Fellow-In-Training with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She also holds a Bachelor’s of Music Performance in Violin Performance from the DePauw University School of Music.

Lanae has been working in the outpatient orthopedic realm of physical therapy since 2017. Lanae has extensive training in manual therapy with NAIOMT. She also has experience working with patients with vestibular conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular hypofunction, and concussion. She also has experience treating occipital neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, balance disorders, and headaches.

When Lanae is not in the office, you can usually find her out for a run, in the gym, or at church. She enjoys singing in praise teams for church, playing her violin for church or weddings, and volunteering with the youth department to create programs that will foster their growth and development in faith and life. Lanae’s passion is in becoming the best clinician sought after for her expertise in treating a wide array of orthopedic conditions with emphasis on performing arts injuries. She also aspires to be known for utilizing the best evidence based manual therapy interventions to help patients reach their best possible outcome from physical therapy.
