Ryan is a graduate of Northeastern University where he earned both his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and his Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences. While in school, Ryan completed eight months of research in the cadaver lab where he was able to refine his understanding and knowledge of human anatomy. He also played on Northeastern’s club water polo team and served as co-captain his junior year.
In his professional career, Ryan has gained extensive experience treating patients with orthopedic issues, as well as those with sports related injuries and patients requiring post-operative rehabilitation. Ryan has practiced in a variety of settings across the country, from Honolulu to Boston. Throughout his schooling and clinical experiences, Ryan has developed a strong interest in helping people with neurological injuries and impairments, particularly those with strokes and spinal cord injuries. Ryan uses a function based approach to therapy, ensuring the patients’ goals are at the forefront of their treatment.
Born and raised in San Diego, Ryan enjoys exercising outdoors and staying active. In his free time, Ryan can be found exploring the city, trying out a new restaurant, or playing beach volleyball with friends.
