Vince “Vinny” Palumbo earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University – Brooklyn. Prior to receiving his Doctorate, Vinny obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kean University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Throughout his academic career, Vinny spent time volunteering to help people with special needs play, exercise, and be active.
Vinny’s passion for physical therapy grew from his love for weightlifting and bodybuilding. For years, Vinny worked as a personal trainer, working with athletes and people of all ages to help accomplish their goals. One of his greatest accomplishments was helping train a friend who swam for the 2017 New Jersey Special Olympics and the 2018 USA Special Olympics. Vinny’s friend went on to win one gold medal in NJ, and two gold medals nationally.
Vinny completed his clinical affiliations in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient care, and pediatrics in the acute and intensive care settings; During his clinical rotations, Vinny focused his interest on the pediatric population as he observed the neonatal unit. While Vinny learned to treat a wide variety of conditions for patients of all ages, he hopes to work and continue furthering his skills in pediatric rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Vinny enjoys staying active with weightlifting, running, snowboarding, and playing sports at the park with friends. When not exercising, he enjoys relaxing at the beach, reading books, playing guitar, and finding all the best and biggest food the world has to offer.
