Zach earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Activity. His clinical experience includes Orthopedic, Neurologic, and Pediatric Physical Therapy. During his time at Downstate, Zach volunteered at the Brooklyn Free Clinic providing pro bono care for uninsured individuals. He also spent time researching the assessment of concussions in the adolescent population.
Zach has been involved in athletics since his youth, which facilitated his interest in health and fitness. Through his studies, he developed a passion for the human body and human kinematics. He understands that everyone’s body is unique and requires an individual rehabilitation plan to recover from an injury or condition. His goal is to help patients understand their diagnosis and return to previous level of performance.
In Zach’s spare time he tries to remain active by biking, running, weightlifting, cross-training, and rock-climbing. He spends time with his family/friends, watches sport, listens to music, explores the City and travels to the beach.
